Fishing

American author John Steinbeck called the Sea of Cortez "the largest fish trap in the world." It was true then and it is true today. With near perfect sea conditions, it is a paradise for serious big trophy fishermen, as well as those who only go out once or twice a year. Our "front yard" is home to abundant marine life with over 850 species of fish, highlighting the Big Three: striped, blue and black marlin; in addition to yellowfin tuna, dorado (mahi-mahi), roosterfish, sawfish, snapper, horse mackerel, pomfret, yellowtail and wahoo. These will test your fishing skill and will definitely make your reel scream and bend your rod!

Our fleet is the best, fastest and best equipped in the Eastern Cape. From reliable twin-engine cruisers to our meticulously maintained Penn International and Makaira reels, our goal is to give you, our fishing guest, the best experience possible. For your convenience, our hotel offers fueling (diesel or gasoline) and launching services for those who choose to arrive by sea or land with their own boat.
