The triumph

El Triunfo, an excellent day trip nearby, is an old mining town with a population of around 300. It's picturesque, to say the least, and a great place to visit. Take a tour with a guide and make it a “must do on Sundays” to try their famous paella. The Ruta de Plata Museum or mining museum is fascinating and well worth the trip, as is MuVaCa, a cowboy museum where you will discover the historical traditions of California cowboy ranching.
